Pure Brazilian is one of our favorite lines for frizzy, hard-to-manage hair, especially when Long Island humidity hits. Each product has a job, and using them in the right order makes a real difference. Here's how to use Pure Brazilian Anti-Frizz products at home, step by step.

How to use Pure Brazilian Anti-Frizz: step by step

  1. Step 1: Shampoo. Lather a quarter-sized amount of Anti-Frizz Daily Shampoo throughout wet hair and scalp, then rinse.
  2. Step 2: Condition. Massage Anti-Frizz Daily Conditioner throughout wet hair, wait 30 seconds, then rinse. Pure Brazilian recommends using it after the Anti-Frizz Shampoo for best results.
  3. Step 3 (weekly): Masque. Once a week, swap the conditioner for the Deep Conditioning Masque. Apply to wet hair, massage in and leave on for 5–10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
  4. Step 4: Towel-dry. Gently squeeze out excess water.
  5. Step 5: Apply your leave-in. For an everyday style, work a quarter-sized amount of Leave-In Serum through towel-dried hair from root to end (start 2 inches from the root if you have fine hair). For a sleek, straight style, apply Silk Smoothing Balm liberally to towel-dried hair (1–2 inches from the root for fine to medium hair) and comb through. Don't rinse either one.
  6. Step 6: Style. Blow-dry or style as usual. For extra smoothness and shine after using the balm, follow with a flat iron.
  7. Step 7: Finish with oil. Apply a small amount of Shine Ultra Light Nourishing Oil to dry hair for shine and to calm frizz. You can also use a little on damp hair before styling.
