Return & Refund Policy

Effective Date: October 15, 2026

We offer a 30-day return policy from the date of delivery. To be eligible for a return, items must meet all of the following conditions:

• The product must be unopened and sealed in its original packaging
• The product must be unused and in the same condition as received
• You must have your receipt or proof of purchase
• A return must be requested within 30 days of receiving your order

Restocking Fee

All approved returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund amount. This fee covers the cost of processing, inspecting, and restocking returned merchandise.

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, email us at hair4286@gmail.com to receive an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. Returns will not be accepted without prior authorization. Items sent back without an RMA number will be refused.

Please allow up to 1 week for your return to be processed once it has been received at our warehouse. Once your return is received, inspected, and approved, our customer service department will provide confirmation of your refund.

Refunds

Once your return is approved, your refund (minus the 10% restocking fee) will be applied to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return, please contact us at hair4286@gmail.com.

Return Shipping

In the event of a packing error by our team, Park Avenue Salon will cover the return shipping cost. For all other returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Contact us at hair4286@gmail.com to discuss your shipping options — we can pass along our discounted shipping rates, with the cost deducted from your refund amount.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Damaged, Lost, or Stolen in Transit

Park Avenue Salon is not responsible for any damage, loss, or theft that occurs during shipping once an order has been picked up by the carrier. Any and all refunds or claims for packages that are damaged, lost, or stolen in transit must be addressed directly with the shipping carrier (UPS or USPS). Shipping Insurance: Every order ships with carrier insurance included at no extra cost. Most orders ship by USPS, UPS, or FedEx, and those services cover loss or damage up to $100 per package. Any claims for packages that are damaged, lost, or stolen in transit must be filed by the customer directly with the shipping carrier. Coverage limits and claim rules are set by each carrier, and claims are paid by the carrier.

If you received the wrong item or your order was packed incorrectly by our team, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at hair4286@gmail.com and we will correct our error at no additional cost to you.

Exceptions — Non-Returnable Items

The following items are final sale and cannot be returned for any reason:

• Any opened or used products
• Sale or clearance items
• Gift cards
• Jewelry
• Nail products: nail polish, tweezers, nippers, clippers, and all other implements
• Hair tools: brushes, razors, shears, and hair color accessories
• Skin and makeup: makeup, makeup brushes, eyelashes, beauty implements, and hair removal accessories
• Hair extensions

Tip: Please be extra careful when selecting makeup colors.

Electrical Appliance Returns

No return will be accepted without an RMA number. Contact us at hair4286@gmail.com for authorization. Park Avenue Salon does not provide refunds on used electrical appliances.

New and unopened electrical appliances (blow dryers, flat irons, curling irons, etc.) can be exchanged for replacement or store credit within 30 days of purchase. The 10% restocking fee applies.

All appliances are guaranteed for 30 days from the date of delivery. If your appliance becomes defective within this period, we will replace it at no cost. After 30 days, all appliances are covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Contact us to discuss your options.

Hair Extensions

All sales of hair extensions are final. Hair extensions are not eligible for returns, refunds, or exchanges under any circumstances — this includes unopened / sealed packages, wrong color or length selections, and change-of-mind requests. Due to the sanitary and personal-use nature of hair extension products, this policy is strictly enforced. Please review your selection carefully before completing your purchase.

Shipping Insurance

Fraud Prevention

To prevent fraud, frequent return requests are subject to review. We reserve the right to deny purchases or refunds for any suspicious activity.

Packaging & Product Appearance

Manufacturers may update their product packaging at any time without prior notice to retailers. As a result, the product you receive may have slightly different packaging than what is shown on our website. Rest assured, the product inside is the same — only the outer packaging may differ.

Size Substitutions

In the event that a specific size is temporarily unavailable, we may substitute with smaller sizes of the same product that equal or exceed the total volume of your original order. For example, if a 32oz bottle is out of stock, we may ship two 16oz bottles instead. You will always receive at least the total amount of product you ordered. If you have a preference or concern about size substitutions, please contact us before placing your order.
